About the name thing, depending of the game, the script does include a name for the actors (generaly the main(s) characters). I'm not sure what's exactly the field that contains the name, but I think it's directly in the actor struct.
Also some games even include names for rooms, but these informations are just beeing discarted for the time beeings.
