[Scummvm-devel] Engine freeze.

In several hours, the ScummVM core engine will be frozen, in order to
rewrite substantial portions of it.

The code has had too many fixmes and hacks lately, which can be solved
easily by using objects more. So to that end we will shortly be placing a
code freeze on the engine.

Port maintainers: Feel free to keep working yourself, but be aware the
code will substantially change over the coming week(s). Please do not
commit anything during this time without asking on IRC first.

So if you have any patches waiting, you have a few hours to jump on IRC
and submit then!
