[Scummvm-devel] CVS freeze aka SVN transition

Hi Team,

here I announce complete and forced CVS freeze.

I.e. all your commits to CVS from now on will be completely lost and
you will have to redo them later.

This is all connected with SVN transition. I'm downloading current CVS
tarball, which will be converted into SVN repository in several stages,
links between moved files added. Then dump of new repository will be
uploaded to sf.net and feature request submitted. We will wait until
sf.net staff process it and fulfill our request. Then we will continue
development on SVN.

Speaking of SVN. Most CVS commands work as is, just substitute cvs with
svn. I will post a short letter soon explaining routine usage of it,
however I recommend to take a look at svnbook at

  http://svnbook.red-bean.com/

For your information, raw uncompressed repository dump for ScummVM
(2001-2006) takes over 1.4G of data. Quite a lot I must say :)
