Not that I've ever heard of. As far as I can tell the ScummVM version
string is hard-coded at compile time, so if it writes
"versioninfo=0.9.0" the simplest explanation would be that you are in
fact running ScummVM 0.9.0.

(I can think of a few other possible explanations, but they all involve
earth radiation and space aliens.)
