In that case, why not simply have the builtbot auto upload the snapshots 
to the ScummVM web site? the date and file sizes could easily be 
determined, since they are on the same server.

Hosting the daily snapshots on the ScummVM web site, would avoid any 
possible bandwidth issues on the buildbot system too.
