I'm very happy with the move.  I've been using Git for more than 5 years for
all my projects and I even run it on top of remote Perforce repository.

I'm also happy with the proposed workflow.  I prefer rebase of small
bugfixes, but long feature branches should be properly merged.

my name is misspelled, it should be "Robert"
