[Scummvm-devel] Switching ScummVM repository to Git

I am skeptical about that, too.

I would prefer grafting the history, and not having "vendor" in legacy. There is no point in having it in legacy at all; vendor is only there to serve as a base reference point for 3rd party software we imported. With git, there are better ways to achieve that, I think. 


Moreover, I am also wondering about the "web" module. Why would the various websites be located in different branches? That seems like an abuse of the branch model to me. I'd rather see them in separate subdirectories, or in separate git repositories.
Also, what exactly is in that "web" module right now? web, doxygen, forum, wiki, web-planet? 


Finally, what about buildbot & media?
