[Scummvm-devel] New engine merging procedure proposal

Hi there,

I just wanted to express my full support for Johannes' idea (in fact, I urged him to write about this to -devel).


And I would like to add that I also am not completely happy with the merge of dreamweb, esp. in its current state. While I admire its cool asm->C conversion trick, I really don't feel very comfortable with the kind of code in dreamgen.cpp sitting in our repository. Alas, since I seem(ed) to be the only one to feel like this, I decided to just shut up, swallow what apparently is a grumpy oldtimer attitude and let others do what they like, and not give a damn.
