Should anybody want to look at that code, they seem to have branched from master
somewhere between
cf87fcba858cb5e989c8a0ee12f5fc1912502cff and
e2948313f38eacde451b9cfddbb4208c63be6611
(desc/1.6.0git-2153-gcf87fcb and desc/1.6.0git-2165-ge294831)

(It doesn't matter where exactly because all commits between those only touched backends/engines they have deleted.)
