Hello everyone,<div><br></div><div>As I'm sure most of you remember, part of my task in GSOC08 was to implement TFMX audio support. Ultimately, the project was a failure and I was unable to complete the task on time. Since then I have been occupied with school and work and unable to contribute my time to this great project. However, it was still in bad fashion to leave everyone hanging and abandon the project as I did. Now that school is winding down, I would like to take the time to revive this project and finally implement the much desired TFMX support. As it stands, the player is semi-functional but still needs some work. There are still some problems that are a bit over my head and I was unable to overcome, so I ask anyone who is interested in this project to contact me on IRC or by email so that we can work together to have this up and running as soon as possible. I have source code for the original players and a variety of TFMX audio samples that we can base our work on. I figure since this is no longer part of GSOC, a little teamwork could help get this task over its hurdles so any aspiring ScummVM developers out there, please contact me!</div>
<div><br></div><div>I'm glad to see that ScummVM is doing GSOC again and I will be glad to offer my advice from a student's prospective to aspiring applicants. I have not yet decided if I will apply for GSOC this summer, but either way, I look forward to working with the ScummVM team again. </div>
