I find the current status of the Maemo port to be very confusing.<div><br></div><div>From what I see, we never got any proper build scripts / instructions for this port, and</div><div>we place links to <a href="http://downloads.maemo.org">downloads.maemo.org</a>. Plus, there doesn't seem to be any source</div>
<div>code. If this is indeed the situation, I too feel that we should remove the Maemo</div><div>port from our list of official ports, as it violates the GPL, and the people who build this</div><div>clearly don't care to support this port properly.</div>

Since this state has been going on for years now, I propose that we delete the maemo port files from our repository now, and revoke its status as an official port.<br>
