I too am an inclusionist, so I would like to have this subengine merged, ultimately.<br><br>The SLOC count does increase in this case, but as it has already been explained, this isn't a metric we can count on. What is very important for me is to have clear code, and a maintainer for it. And in this case, we have both, so I personally don't see a real issue with this.<br>
<br>As David explained, keeping this in a separate tree will mean that people will start pulling from that branch and compiling it themselves anyway, leading into yet more unofficial builds and more chaos.<br><br>Regards<br>
