<div>Hello all,</div>
<div>I just wanted to quickly introduce myself since I want to join the team. I have coding experience from my education (physics with minor in CS) and work. I love to work on gaming-related projects in my freetime. I live in the US but I grew up in Germany.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I have worked before on things such as modding the firmware for the Mojo Retroadapter. The Mojo adapter was an ARM based DIY decvice used connect old controllers with modern hosts. I added Xbox and Android host support to the firmware as well as PS NegCon controller support. The work is on github, the repo is called "Retroadaptermod."</div>

<div>Recently, I got intrigued by some of Cpasjuste's Vita homebrew work. The code was clean and I realized how easy it had become to develop for the PS Vita. I first started making improvements to Cpasjuste's port of the Amiga emulator UAE4all2 by adding multiplayer support, a full virtual keyboard (with ScHlaucHi's help and testing), smooth analog pointer controls, and arbitrary controller mappings for up to four controllers. I think the combination of Cpasjuste's initial great port and him jumping back in to add hardware shaders, together with many little improvements by me and ScHlaucHi now make UAE4All2 Vita an extremely usable and quite complete portable Amiga solution. And there's the added bonus that it now works with 4 player multiplayer on the Vita TV!</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I also added multiplayer support to Cpasjuste's Vita port of Final Burn Alpha, called PFBA. Again the code was clean and easy to modify and learn from.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I started getting involved with ScummVM development a few months ago because I looked at Cpasjuste's other work and realized he had released a ScummVM port for the Vita as one of his first Vita projects. The port was close to perfect. But I thought it needed a few tweaks such as bilinear filtering, a smoother mouse control etc., to make it more usable and easier on the eye. So I made those changes and then kept making changes and PR's to Cpasjuste's fork. I realized some of those changes (smoother joystick pointer, etc, similar to the changes I made to UAE4All2 Vita) were valuable to mainline ScummVM, especially to the AndroidSDL port. So I made a few cherry-picked PR's to mainline ScummVM that got merged. Recently, Cpasjuste decided to merge the complete Vita branch with mainline ScummVM. The code needed a bit of polishing up to comply with ScummVM converntions. So I did the refactoring and reformatting to make the Vita fork merge-able.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I would love to continue dev work for ScummVM, especially on the Vita port, and become part of the official team.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The next step would be to setup the buildbot so that the Vita port is built daily and it is always up-to-date, just like the PSP port is already (also a great port that I play a lot btw).</div>
<div> </div>
<div>All the best,</div>
