<div dir="ltr">Hello, developers of ScummVM! It's nice to be here, and I'm really excited to be one of the students selected for ScummVM!
Thank you, everyone, for seeing me as a good potential candidate for GSoC!
I'm hoping I can make a good contribution, complete my tasks on time, and meet all of your expectations.<div> </div><div>Onwards, my name is Aryan - I'm a student from Ahmedabad, India. My set of tasks are very well defined, and since I've already set up my environment, and contributed a fix for a little bug here and there, and met some of you, I thought the best way to communicate more would be to just start coding and working on my tasks!</div><div><br></div><div><div>That being said, I'd like to just point out for a quick moment that it's my first time wandering into a big codebase like this and collaborating with experienced developers. I hope you would understand if I ask some trivial questions and details. I will be available full-time for this period, and I'll be most active on Discord. My nick there is "aryanrawlani28". Looking forward to having a chat!</div><div></div></div><div><br></div><div>My tasks for the summer are:</div><div>1) Switch GUI from char sized strings to Common::U32 Strings.</div><div>2) RTL Support for GUI</div><div>3) Move detection code from plugins into the main executable. (Changing the dynamic plugins system)</div><div><br></div><div>I'll be working on tasks 1 & 2 first and after completion move on to the 3rd,</div><div><br></div><div>Lastly, I've set up my blog, and wrote my introductory post! I'll include the link to it and my GitHub repo below.</div><div><br></div><div>GitHub: <a href="https://github.com/aryanrawlani28/scummvm">https://github.com/aryanrawlani28/scummvm</a> </div><div>Blog: <a href="https://gsoc-ar28.blogspot.com/">https://gsoc-ar28.blogspot.com/</a></div><div><br></div><div>Any feedback, regarding code, blog, or anything is very welcome!</div><div><br></div><div>I look forward to working with all of you :)</div></div>
