<div dir="ltr">Oh - that "it looks like I'm not part of the ScummVM team." should have been "it looks like I'm no_w_ part of the ScummVM team." ;)<br></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sat, Oct 24, 2020 at 4:36 PM M. So first of all let me thank you all for the awesome work that everybody did on ScummVM. As you might have heard a few fantastillion times, you all have brought back my childhood.</div><div><br></div><div>Anyway - a few words about me.</div><div>My name is Martin Gerhardy, I'm living near Hamburg in Germany and I'm almost 40 years old.</div><div>I'm currently working as a devops guy and have several other pet projects - like voxel stuff at <a href="https://mgerhardy.github.io/engine/" target="_blank">https://mgerhardy.github.io/engine/</a> - others like caveexpress can be found in my github profile if anyone is interested. I was also the project lead of the opensource UFO:Alien Invasion game a few years ago.</div><div><br></div><div>Regarding ScummVM and the inclusion of the twin-e project I can only say that I always loved the LBA games and already tried a very poor integration a few years ago - but have never continued it. But now it is fully integrated in the scumm systems as far as I can tell. A few things are still missing and also twine left a lot of work on unimplemented features - so I suppose it won't get boring in the next few weeks.</div><div><br></div><div>Stuff like audio cd and saving subsystem is completely missing right now. And stuff like the midi code could get an overhaul to reduce code duplication.</div><div><br></div><div>Right now I'm trying to fix the input handling and the menu code. Once that is done I will concentrate on the gameplay issues.<br></div><div><br></div><div>All in all my plans are to make the game fully playable and who knows... maybe also have a look at LBA2....</div><div><br></div><div>Feeling glad to be on the team now - and thanks for reading.</div><div>Martin<br></div><div><br>-- <br><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><a href="https://github.com/mgerhardy/" target="_blank">https://github.com/mgerhardy/</a><br><a href="https://twitter.com/MartinGerhardy" target="_blank">https://twitter.com/MartinGerhardy</a><br></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
