My name is Donovan, nick dwa/dwatteau (or also "Tsomi" many years ago;
here you can probably guess its meaning!).

I live near Lille in the northern part of France (if you like French
fries, cheese and beer, I've seen things you wouldn't believe). I've
been a ScummVM user since... 2004? but it took me a bit of time to start
contributing :D

I'm a sysadmin by day, so I just know enough C to plug into some simple
C++ code. My development skills are modest, but I like
tweaking/improving things, and being helpful where I can. I'm happy just
doing my small contributions through PRs, but sev says that I can be
helpful by rejoining the team, so why not! It means a lot to me to be
part of a project I've been using since I was a kid.

My main interest is in the "historical" engines (scumm, agos, kyra,
saga...) but I also like testing some newer engines on some PowerPC or
MIPS machines I have here (if you need any big-endian test...). Lately,
I've been submitting some portability fixes, several small SCUMM script
fixes/enhancements, helping a bit with some Trac issues and
documentation, and trying to resurrect the Mac PowerPC port for the
2.6.0 release. I also help maintaining the ScummVM port in OpenBSD.

I also maintain the ScummTr translation tools on Github, which were
written by Hibernatus nearly 20 years ago. I've been using them to do my
own French (re)translations of the v3-v6 SCUMM games for more than 10
years, but all my translations get stuck at 70%, eh ;)

Oh, and I'd also like to thank everyone who's made all my contributions
a very nice and welcoming experience so far, and Filippos in particular
for the time spent in many of my PRs :)

Cheers!
