Soundcard: SB Live Value

In the screen with the sausaphone (a humming noise is
heard  in the background) By the end of the dialog with
the professional musician this humming has turned into
a high frequency and is really painful to the ears.
I do not mean the sound coming from the instrument itself.
Somehow it seems (sounds like) that the background
music in this screen is broken.
