Summary: Unable to select items in Inventory

Initial Comment:
Mac OS X Talkie version. Attempted on both a G4 PowerMac 
and an iBook. 

I can select and use items within the game (i.e. grab the 
metal bar) but cannot select or use any item from the 
inventory. Have tied all possible keyboard modifiers to no 
avail.
