I installed SCUMMVM 0.12 on WINXP English SP3.
Added the game COMI, and when I press Start, then the following error message appears in the command line:

User picked target 'comi' (gameid 'comi')...
  Looking for a plugin supporting this gameid... Scumm Engine
  Starting 'The Curse of Monkey Island'
Assertion failed: isspace(*ptr), file engines/scumm/string.cpp, line 1408
