Initial Comment:
In Maniac Mansion for NES Extracted/English (US), When you ring the doorbell, Ed does not appear at the doorway.  This happens both when you are on the front porch screen and when you are not, so it can be reproduced as soon as you start the game.  I'm testing on Windows 7 with 1.2.0svn51704.
