 I checked this bug against my installation of the original Myst:
 Masterpiece Edition.

 You'll notice that in the original game, the sound for said control panel
 is very short, maybe even well shorter than 1 second. In ScummVM, it seems
 that this sound gets looped/repeated a few times, it takes about 2 second
 for the sound to complete. If you listen closely, you can even hear that
 it gets looped.
