 I added a missing delay that was specifically for the Hebrew version,
 which may help.

 The F1, F2, F3 keys don't work in the multi-language (French, Hebrew,
 Italian, Spanish) versions of Simon the Sorcerer 1 (DOS CD), according to
 the original source code.

 The GUI setting for subtitles has no effect on any games in AGOS engine,
 it is disabled in game at least.
