 With the change in 4d1b88df, the volume of all the videos in the game
 should be a little lower and better match the volume of other sounds in
 the game.
 Do you still think the sound of the gate is too loud ?

 Either way, the sound of the gate is baked into the "Atrus" video. There's
 no simple way to change its volume without changing the volume of the
 whole video.
