Comment:

 Thanks for your report! This demo is buggy in this way and will do the
 same thing in the original interpreter. I’m willing to review a script
 patch if someone feels like writing one, but since this is both a demo and
 non-interactive, it doesn’t seem worth it to hold open this ticket or
 spend effort on fixing the defect in the demo’s scripts.
