 Edit - I just discovered that the crash goes away if I delete this file
 from the game directory:
 "314.SCR"

 The file and a bunch of others with the extensions .HEP and .SCR are dated
 8/3/1992. I'm guessing this is part of a later version of the game or
 patch that helps with the DOS interpreter, but breaks ScummVM. It's
 included with the GOG release of the game.
