Docbook is certainly the 'in' thing atm for documentation. The nicest 
looking output (over PDF and HTML) that I've seen from a single source 
is the python documentation. It's written in (evil dramatic music) LaTeX 
though, which might put some people off a bit. The python guys have a 
bunch of predefined TeX macros to make stuff look pretty. How easy is it 
to customise the end output like that when using DocBook? I haven't used 
it before.

Not, btw, that I'm saying that we should make a decision based on how 
pretty the default output is. I'm just curious.
