Further info:
The particualy crash is on a call to READ_LE_UINT16. And I can't
replicate it again... I had this crash once, but attempting to cause a
second crash so I can debug the problem with GDB seems impossible.
So while I did get a random crash once (Which is BAD to begin with!), I
can't seem to replicate it.
Max, can you take a look and see if (for some reason) it occurs more
frequently on ALL Big Endian machines?
This kind of thing is CERTAINLY release-critical :)
