Hello again,
Now I'm subcribed to this list too... :-)
I better admit that am not experienced with the inner workings of
ScummVM or game development, but on the other hand I can code C/C++ and
I can use IDA Pro for my reverse engineering needs.
I would be happy to cooperate with Gregory Montoir and Joost Peters in
order to see how far we can take "Flight of the Amazon Queen". It was
nice to see that these two already had begun studying the game.
Gregory must have spent quite a few hours translating assembler to
C/C++. Even if it would be working quite well, much more work would
probably be needed to understand it properly.
I have started to document the file formats, and I can continue that
work if you think it is a good approach? I just created a simple web
page where I'll collect available information but it is quite empty now:

Anyway, if Ender would manage to get some source code everything would
of course be much easier... :-)
