[Scummvm-devel] 0.5.0 Release Schedule Changes

Hi all.

Due to the recent problems with developer CVS on SourceForge, I am pushing
back our hard freeze/branch date. We will now basically hard freeze when
all current Release Critical's (5, minus the Launcher RC) are fixed or
worked around.

We will then branch, and prepare final documentation, versioning and port
fixes for 0.5.0

I HIGHLY suggest all ports are updated now. For 0.4.0 we had numerous
ports adding fixes to the branch after the source tarball was already
made. Once we tag and tar a final release, that is it for that release (to
uphold the GPL, the final tarball must be able to produce the exact same
binaries as those that were released).

If anybody feels they need more time, or has a large experimental patch to
add (thus wishes branching to occur sooner), please let me know.

Cheers,

 - Ender
