Did that for "my" (=fingolfin) files.

cmatsuoka didn't reply to emails for a couple of months now. So we'll
have to file a support request with SF.net to get rid of those files

Of course PHP files etc. should only be modified in CVS. but there are
various reasons why one might have to edit something directly in
htdocs...

.. like those, but also other possibilities. In general it's just good
if Ender or I, and others can fix any problems in htdocs, and don't
have to wait for you (e.g. you might be asleep, or too busy).

Sure, as always. Although that's hardly a problem, CVS will just ignore
those files anyway except for user visible feedback, which will list
them with a "?"
