I don't really have much to say about this that hasn't already been
said, but just for the hell of it:

Very true. However, I expect most of the "Whaattttttttt?!!!" replies are
simply because it wasn't discussed beforehand. Which leads to me..

"then post to -devel about it, mostly for Max's opinion" - true, but it
wasn't the only reason.

Indeed. AW/OTW is a recognised Action-Adventure, just as FT is. You'll
be hard pressed to find anybody familiar with the game who doesn't
consider it an adventure :)

Indeed. I'm as concerned about NEEDLESS bloat as the next guy, but new
functional engines really arn't.

Hmm, this does sound like two branches to me. The one thing I mentioned
to aquadran before he commited RAW was that if Cyx prefers to work on it
as an independant program, it shouldn't really go in. Cyx?
