Well, CoMI started up fine on the DC with this setting at least.
However, there was still horrible disc thrashing whenever there was
speech (in the actual game, not the intro movie), so it was still
unplayable.  Hence, I can't say what would happen with the town
exits.  But the game appeared a little smoother when there was no
speech at least.

Seems like the speech code needs some more read-ahead to work properly
on high-latency systems.
