Some update on the CE port : I've been (quickly) testing more games with 
no obvious problems on my test device (Windows Mobile 2003 SE 480x640)

I think I located the problem with new Windows Mobile 5.0 handsets 
(running an interpolated 240x320 mode) as well.

However I think I missed the moment when the cursor handling code 
changed in the SDL backend (guess that's what happend when you look at 
the code base every 4 months :p) and it's causing some non trivial 
issues with the way my port is implementing special scalers 
(portrait/landscape and 176x220 Smartphones). Will see how to fix that 
without breaking too many things, if possible :)
