[Scummvm-devel] 0.9.1 plans

Hi Team,

of course, you knew that. :)

Even before we announced 0.9.0, which will take place tomorrow night
(EU time) I'm talking about 0.9.1.

There are several things which already known to be included into 0.9.1:

 - wjp talks about built-in theme path in separate thread
 - simon engine is broken on 64 bits systems
 - theme caching is not implemented, and at least 2 ports are wounded
   by it
 - Keith (new Atari builder) has a small fix to convbdf.c
 - Several glitches were already fixed after tagging which are good for
   backporting
   * actor walking in scumm engine
   * dxa file path in HE games
   * Fix bug #1509496 - INDY3 (MAC): Map screen hangs up at azores

That means that we should take care of branch-0-9-0 and backport
important fixes. For those new in our team, branch-x-x-0 is in
permanent feature freeze mode with usual places unfrozen, i.e.
backends/ directory, GUI and other non-engine areas, so any changes
should be made with a great care as we usually do not perform testing
for .1 and .2 releases.

I expect 0.9.1 to be prepared in couple months, at least when 64bits
and theme caching issues will be fixed.
