[Scummvm-devel] Add user submitted GUI themes to trunk?

We can show off the theme pictures anyway from the main page (something like the screenshots pages I guess), there is no need to keep them in the wiki just for that..
And we really need to remove those JavacatVM themes, the whole idea sounds funny at first, but the number of people who'll actually use those themes are a single digit number... We are supposed to be offering ScummVM themes, otherwise we might as well create a theme for every single person that visits the IRC channel (clone2727VM, md5VM, fingolfinVM, sevVM). I fail to see why those JavacatVM themes are funny or useful in any way (and yes, sorry javacat)...

They are all nice, but almost all of them are outdated. Perhaps we could add them to the trunk, with a script/batch file that would convert the current modern theme to the respective user submitted themes? The images themselves in each theme don't need to be changed, only the theme's ini file needs to be updated. I already have such a batch file for Windows (but it only uses the GNU rpl, so it's portable if someone wishes to port it to *nix), which creates the modern blue theme from the modern theme.
If it becomes easy to maintain all themes, wouldn't it be nice to include them in the main ScummVM archive (they're quite small anyway) or in the downloads page? The wiki doesn't seem to be a good place, not many people use those themes, it seems (
e.g. noone up to now has complained that those themes are outdated).
I think the wiki is a good place, so that we can show off the pictures of the themes at the same location. But, I think a link to that page from the downloads page would be good. Oh, and you don't have to update all the JavacatVM ones ;)
