[Scummvm-devel] Branch-0-10-0. Release 0.10.0 status. June 5th

Hi guys,

so branch-0-10-0 has been created. We still have several critical bugs
open (2 of them are in my jurisdiction), but I hope they all will be
resolved by the time of tagging.

To those new ones let me explain what branching is.

From now on code got a fork with current trunk copied to branch-0-10-0.
Trunk gets unfrozen and eventually it will become next version of
ScummVM. From branch-0-10-0 we will create ScummVM 0.10.x versions. Now
it is a clearly bugfix-only branch. I.e. when you fix some bug, you test
in in trunk as we usual do, and if that bug could be good to have fixed
in 0.10.x, you backport it to the branch. I.e. since code will start to
deviate, it will require some manual work to port that code change to
the branch.

Still we have these critical and nice to have fixed bugs. If you fix
some, fix it in trunk, as we want it stay forever, and fix it in
branch-0-10-0, as we want it fixed in the release.
