Slightly off topic but nevertheless: 3min 8sec for full wince release 
with hq scalers, make -j5, on cygwin. I cannot hypothesize about the 
slowdown, other than perhaps that cygwin has a lousy i/o response 
compared to a linux native environment (based on my experience, I would 
say about 20-50% drop in performance due to constant opening/closing of 
files sounds about right). Not tried in linux yet.
