But the Symbian port has its own call to SDL_OpenAudio. So unless I  
totally miss something, it would not be affected by this change at all.

I don't think this applies here (maybe you are talking about the  
adlib / FMOPL code?). Anyway, it's unlikely that the MT-32 emu will  
ever run on a Symbian device, so... :)
