Well, I clearly described that behavior in my status e-mail.

Now, seeing that your actions were in fact intentional makes me even
more disappointed and upset. If every developer would decide to release
whatever he wants at time he wants, that will turn the project into an
unmanageable mess and thus simply kill it.

For the sake of the project we should stick to common rules. If you
don't like current approaches, raise your voice and we will find a
common ground.
