Sure. In fact, to stress this again: Everybody should still be able to  
make changes at any time. If I notice a broken link, I should be able  
& allowed to just fix it myself. Only if I don't have the time /  
knowledge / access to fix it should the webmaster be there, as a  
guarantee that all fixes are eventually implemented.

Of course, if we change web code, it would be wise to let the "head"  
webmaster know, so he can keep on top of all changes; monitoring the  
commit mails for that (e.g. using a filter for all commits to the web/  
module) might be a good idea, too.
