Thanks Andre, for the great work you did there!
Folks, this build server will provide us with automatic feedback on
build issues. It will also allow us to provide nightly builds for
multiple platforms. For now, debian and windows, but hopefully Andre
can get the Wii port done.
Porters, if you are interested in getting your build added, contact
us!
Note that currently it is essential that
* your port can be built on Linux
* it can be built _outside_ the source tree (that's for free if you
use configure).
Andre is working on getting the Wii port working, and I think Joost
tries it for the PSP. I might look into setting up an OS X
crosscompiler (based on <http://devs.openttd.org/~truebrain/compile-farm/apple-darwin9.txt
> and my experience with OSX cross compiling on an OSX machine ;).
though I'll not mind if anybody else wants to work on that
(vinterstum? :).
What about others? Symbian, Nintendo DS, Dreamcast, PS2, WinCE,
iPhone, ... ? Other linux distros would be cool, too, but right now
we shy away from it since the whole glibc versions etc. seem to make
it overly complicated...
The NDS port right now requires building inside the source tree, I
think, and doesn't use the configure script. I am interested in
helping to change that... Neil, what do you think?
Some closing remarks:
* in theory there are RSS & Atom feeds (under <http://buildbot.scummvm.org/rss
> and <http://buildbot.scummvm.org/atom>), but they seem to be broken
right now. Andre?
* We could probably customize the look of the buildbot pages a bit (if
somebody is interested in working on that, tell us)
* While I am at it: If anybody feels like customizing the CSS for <http://doxygen.scummvm.org/
>, go for it ;)..
Bye,
Max
