I agree. In my opinion, having an engine in the main trunk only makes sense
if there's a definitive intention by someone to see it finished. Given, as
Max points out, there's no-one immediately willing to take over development,
it's probably better to remove it for now. Again as he points out, if
someone ever decides to take over work on it, it can always be re-added
