I will test the scumm extraction (for mac games) and compression
(sou, san and bun) tools this week-end, and if I have the time the
broken sword 1 and 2 compression tool.

Speaking of which, do somebody know if this work for the BS1 mac
speech files? Some versions have these files in little endian (i.e.
the same as the PC version) and I guess this will work, but some
other versions have these files in big endian. Sadly my version uses
little endian so I cannot test if it works with the big endian speech
files. I am not saying this should be supported, but if it isn't I
would like the info to be present in the User Manual.
Same question for the PSX version.

Also I would like to remind you that there is a WIP page for the GUI
tools in the manual at
http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/User_Manual/Appendix:_Tools/new

It is incomplete (e.g. the description of some tools is missing) and
inconsistent (e.g. it first seems to imply that the CLI is invoked
using ./tools_cli --tool <tool name> but afterward some example are
calling directly some tools: ./compress_saga <flags here> <file>). I
will work on this myself this week-end after I have had the time to
familiarize myself with the new GUI tools. But some help is welcome.

For example that would be great if the tools authors could write a
description for the tools that do not have one yet (e.g.
compress_gob, compress_tinsel, compress_ticker).
