hi ScummVM team,
first of all, I'd like to apologize for submitting fixes for 2 bugs for
Dragon History 1.5 days after the tagging of v1.1.0. I knew it was going to
be around this time, but I was so tight with my time (due to disease, little
baby at home, and end of quarter at work) that I didn't even get to read the
e-mail with the details of when it exactly is. I just got to solving the
bugs now and they were easy to fix.
I would like to ask you whether the forth-coming version v1.1.1 will be
branched from the current mainline (and therefore I don't have to do
anything) or if you have some separate branch where I should back-port my
fixes to.
second, I have good news for you all. my old co-authors of the game decided
to re-release it on a CD sold for a very cheap price in the Czech Republic,
probably bundled with some magazine. it will be a package of ScummVM
program with the Dragon History data files, just click and run. naturally
they will comply to the GPL license. I proposed to give 10% of the gain to
the ScummVM foundation, and it seems to have been accepted. do you have
some procedure for accepting such donations? I will let you know
whether/when this happens.
related to that question, without doing any kind of research, just hoping
for a quick answer, I would like to ask you if the installer of ScummVM for
Windows can be easily tweaked to install some game files together with the
program and automatically register the game in the ScummVM registry items.
is there any kind of source code for such an installer inside the code
base? or do we have to write our own installer using external utilities?
kind regards,
--
