Hm.. I think that is a very valid point here, especially since as Paul
said it actually does not even compile currently.

So I would probably say we should either wait till it compiles or wait
till we have git in place and then instead of forking we could still
use a separate "feature" branch, at least that sounds more convenient
in such a case than doing a fork and hosting it elsewhere.
