[Scummvm-devel] SCI bug reports

Hi SCI devs,

good work on improving SCI support rapidly recently. However, I had a look through the bug tracker today, and I was wondering: While new reports very often seem to get addressed very quickly and effectively, I see a growing list of "older" reports (i.e. 2-3 weeks old ;) which have not a single comment on them. For some semi-rando examples, consider <https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3037036&group_id=37116&atid=418820> or <https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3034465&group_id=37116&atid=418820> or <https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3039368&group_id=37116&atid=418820>.

Maybe that's because devs looked at them and didn't have the resources to address them (e.g. lack of time due to being busy fixing other bugs, or lack of the right game version, or or or). Or maybe because they get lost in the tons of constantly incoming new reports? Fact is, those are piling up quicker than they can be resolved, right now ;).

In any case, I was wondering if somebody could find the time to look through some of the "older" tracker items, and at least comment on whether the bug was looked at; or maybe request submitters to retest (maybe the bug in question was already fixed during the heaps of changes in the past weeks). Also, maybe some people who are currently not so much involved in SCI development would like to help out, simply by looking at those bug reports, and trying to reproduce them, etc..

For reference, here's the 100 most recently opened bug reports which are still open, of which about 90 are for SCI games:

Cheers,
Max
