I disagree, the only part that is used for detection is the resourcemanager, and this is mostly needed cause each SCI game is compressedwith a different compression scheme. Again, I might be biased with this,as I wrote the fallback detection code, but I personally don't see thereasoning why we should remove it, since it works. Anyway, if this detection scheme poses a problem for the rest of the project, we cansurely remove it altogether, I just find it a step backwards myself.
