Hi everybody!
Fingolfin mentioned GitHub's updated issue tracker a few days ago (see
https://github.com/blog/831-issues-2-0-the-next-generation ).
It looks like there is a (very) basic import script to move sf.net tracker
entries to GitHub (https://github.com/ttencate/sf2github ) that can be
worked on if we decide to switch. There is also a roundup importer that
could be adapted (http://svn.python.org/view/tracker/importer/ ).
Compared to the SF.net tracker, GitHub will give us better integration (link
between issues & commits, closing issues directly from a commit message,
etc.), milestone support and nicer comments (auto-linking of commits/issues,
proper formatting).
I was wondering if there was any big feature(s) missing for our project use
and if not, if we should consider switching to it in the future?
