Hi Andre,
Your proposal looks fine to me. It doesn't address the blend function
issue, but that's fine, let's take one thing at at time. :-)
I did notice one thing in the modified engines/scumm/cursor.cpp code
though (it's not part of the actual changeset, so it's not your
fault):
Unless the platform is NES, the key color for the cursor is set to
either 5 or 255. That is probably not right for a highcolor cursor.
