Hi, on IRC people have been already wondering what is going on in the GSOC
front, so I think it is a good moment to briefly introduce myself.

My name is Jussi Pitkänen (tiqpit on IRC), I am 22 years old coder living
in Oulu, Finland, where I am currently studying computer science.

This summer I am going to work on the AGI engine. My task is to add support
for three bootable floppy games, namely:
  * King's Quest I (AGI "v0")
  * Black Cauldron (AGI v1.12)
  * Donald Duck's Playground (AGI v2.001)

I have already done some preliminary work on finding out how the game
resources are mapped to the disks, and I will continue to work on this
full-time after May 23 when the official coding period starts. During the
process I will create some tools (resource extractor, script disassembler)
as needed in addition to reimplementing the games. How exactly the
implementation will be done is not yet sure, but it is possible that the
AGI engine itself need to be refactored a little (in contrast to how the
preAGI games seem to have been implemented).

I have set up a development blog that can be found at
http://advinadv.blogspot.com/

I hope it will be an interesting summer to all parties involved.

- Jussi
